Aung That Mann, 40, is a graduate of the Rangoon Institute of Economics, son of General Shwe Mann (Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, ex-Commandant of the Irrawaddy Division).
1997: He is recruited by Tay Za as Managing Director of Ayer Shwe Wah Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Htoo Trading Company (construction, palm oil production and import-Export of agricultural chemicals) with Thiha, brother of Tay Za.
2001: The government grants Ayer Shwe Wah 30,000 acres (12,000 hectares). He obtained a permit for his company to export rice to Bangladesh and Singapore.
